So, Bam has a huge piece of his life missing, such as where he was when he was when he and Funky got lost in the Timestream and where he got his father's sword. He never talks about it and never says where he disappears to every now and again. True is he fell through a seal placed on a tower made of fire and light. Our boy is unaffected by such things so he tore through it and was found by a butterflygirl named Rosetta. She nursed him back to health and the two hit it off rather well. Rosetta can't leave her tower as her master forbids her from leaving in exchange for being taught magic. Her only linked to the outside world is Bam and the mountain of books kept in the attic of the tower. Rosetta is very astute and sometimes can tell where Bam's been just my looking at him. She enjoys reading, however she read every book in the towers 8 times. Bam brings her anything from technical manuals to magazines to keep her happy. < and she happily reads them.... she even took a can of soda from him just so she could read the ingredients > At least once a week Bam goes to see her and she sits and listens to his exploits with great delight. Many times Bam has snuck her out for an hour and has shown her many of the things she's missing. Sadly if her master ever found out, she would be killed as well as Bam. Still the 2 remain the best of friends and enjoy each other company.
